About Me

I am Monet, and for as long as I can remember I have loved glamour, beauty, and fashion. As a girl, I had a young beautiful mom, I loved watching her transform herself through hair, makeup, and fashion. She had the infamous book Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin, and I would spend hours playing with her makeup attempting to recreate his looks with whatever makeup I could gain access to. It all began when I was 10 years old when my mom gave me a fierce cat eye and a deep purple lip look for halloween. It was the first time I had experienced what enhancing my beauty through makeup and hair could do for my self confidence. I thought, “how fun would it be to do this for other people?” I then went on to High School where I began styling and making over my friends for football games, and social events. In 2010 I graduated from Beauty School, went on to assist a high end salon of 8+ talented hair stylists and make-up, and the rest is history.

That leads me to say, that I love what I do, I was blessed to find at a young age. All I want, is to have you look and feel beautiful, that is what sets my soul on fire. I love getting to know the people in my chair, and to support them in making their special days magical. I have had years of experience, and worked on people from all over the world and what I have learned is that the beauty industry is so much more than just social media, fashion shows, and television. For me, it’s a way of self expression and a way to enhance ones natural beauty. The way I see it is, we get to tap in to our creative genius, and come up with beautiful art, on what is already a masterpiece. We get to create our own rules, pushing limits, coloring inside and outside of the lines… stepping outside of out comfort zone. Whatever it may be, I get to connect with you to create your vision of beauty for yourself, and I’m looking forward to that. ♡
